Who is responsible for your data?

The Smartfit widget is integrated into the online shop you are currently visiting.

The respective online shop is responsible for the processing of your personal data under data protection law.

Smartfit (Radlabor GmbH) provides the technical service and processes personal data solely on behalf of and under the instructions of the respective online shop.

Smartfit does not use your data for its own advertising, marketing, or cross-shop profiling purposes.

What data is processed?

When you use the Smartfit widget, the following data may be processed:

• Technical data, such as IP address (where technically required), browser and device information, and session information
• Information you enter into the widget, such as body measurements or other inputs required for the requested Smartfit function
• Product-related information required to generate a size recommendation or other Smartfit result
• In the context of leasing offers, additional information you enter that is required for the requested calculation or leasing-related function

This data is processed solely to provide the Smartfit function you requested, to ensure the technical stability of the service, and to support continuity of your interaction with the widget.

No advertising tracking, cross-site tracking, or cross-shop profiling takes place.

Use of browser storage

To ensure proper functionality, the Smartfit widget uses browser-side storage mechanisms, in particular session storage and local storage.

These storage mechanisms help to:

• Maintain the current widget state during your visit
• Ensure technical stability and consistent results
• Avoid unnecessary duplicate sessions
• Reconnect a Smartfit interaction previously started on the same device

Session storage is used only during the active browser tab session and is deleted automatically when you close the tab or reload the page.

Local storage contains only a pseudonymous Smartfit session identifier. It does not store body measurements, leasing inputs, or marketing identifiers in your browser.

Depending on the technical setup, this session identifier may allow a previously started Smartfit interaction on the same device to be recognized again. This may, for example, make it possible to continue an interrupted interaction or restore previously entered Smartfit information, insofar as such information is available server-side for the relevant session.

The local storage entry expires automatically after 30 days of inactivity.

Where is data processed?

Processing generally takes place on servers located within the European Union or the European Economic Area.

If you wish to exercise your data protection rights, such as access, deletion, or restriction of processing, please contact the respective online shop directly, as it is responsible for the processing of your data.

Smartfit supports the respective online shop in fulfilling its data protection obligations within the scope of its processing on behalf.
