Our Mission
Everyone rides the bike that is tailored to their own needs! We promote the joy of cycling and are proud to be involved in every second bike sizing worldwide. With our enthusiasm, our history and focus on data and precision, we optimize our products and services every day.
Our Story
Our mission started with the foundation of the Radlabor in 1997 - the search for the optimal sizing and and initially the perfect riding position on the bike. Our roots lie in science and practical cooperation with top athletes, the Freiburg Olympic Training Center and the Sports Institute of the University of Freiburg.
We have made a significant contribution to the further development of measuring procedures for professional bike fittings and have perfected them. Our systems and services are the result of decades of development.
Our Radlabor Bike Fitting Locations
Smartfit combines scientific expertise with a clear practical approach and its own experience from three service centers in Freiburg, Munich and Frankfurt. Originally started in the bike fitting sector under the name Radlabor, this intensive work ultimately led to the creation of Smartfit - with the aim of passing on our fitting expertise through innovative systems.
Thanks to the strong connection to the Radlabor, we can continuously test, optimize and further develop our Smartfit systems under real conditions. This practical work guarantees the highest quality and enables us to always offer our customers the best possible sizing and fitting solutions for sporting goods.
Today, we advise and support people of all abilities with our expertise and our products to ensure a perfect fit and the best possible performance.
Our team
Our headquarters are in Freiburg (Breisgau), but our team works internationally. From Austria to Greece, our employees passionately develop innovative solutions with a focus on cycling. Our sales representatives are directly on-site in Germany and Austria – close to our customers and partners and always on the move. We are united by our enthusiasm for technology, movement, and team spirit.
